We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at Hobbit Hollow. The cottage was beautifully renovated with all the modern amenities we needed, including excellent WiFi for the kids. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, and tea, which made us feel right at home. The owner, Celine, was always just a phone call away and provided great communication before our arrival. The location was perfect for exploring the Wicklow Mountains and we would definitely recommend staying here. it was a delightful experience.

The location of the cottage was convenient, being near enough to Dublin for easy access, and there was a nice pub down the road for food. the owner was very responsive and provided a helpful binder with local brochures and menus from nearby restaurants.
The cottage itself left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we found the place to be quite dirty, with leftover food and even a packet of cigarettes left in the bedroom.

The town where the hotel is located is a charming little place with a beautiful riverside walk nearby. It also has a supermarket, coffee shop, and food outlets within a short walk. The location was perfect for us to explore the nearby Wicklow area. the accommodation itself was small but adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and WIFI access. We appreciated the outdoor seating area as well.
One major downside was the lack of curtains in the bedrooms. This meant that our children were constantly awake late at night and up very early in the morning due to the sunlight.
